Job Description
We are currently seeking a Resource and Data Analyst to join our Warehousing team at our Harworth site. As a Resource and Data Analyst you will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of the Group, required to analyse all data across multiple contracts to develop reporting suites and identify accurate requirements for labour resourcing. Works very closely with the warehouse and senior management on site and with the customer to obtain forecast information and set up and maintain accurate recordings of daily volume movements.

AS A RESOURCE AND DATA ANALYST YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILL, EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven work experience in a similar role within a logistics environment;
  • Good understanding of warehouse layout and promotional activity;
  • Extensive knowledge of VBA, power query and SQL
  • Advanced Excel knowledge;
  • Excellent organisation and analytical skills;
  • Good communication, and attention to detail;
  • Ability to detect data trends to enable accurate forecasting;
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in data analyst role within a large FMCG 3PL;
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure priority projects are completed within correct time frames;
  • Some knowledge of development using C, C# programming languages;
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn additional skillsets to integrate new and functional solutions;

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the customers on site to identify upcoming promotions;
  • Managing promotional volumes and locations;
  • Interacting with management, warehouse teams, to prepare for upcoming activity;
  • Labour planning;
  • Liaison with agencies for staff shortages;
  • Working alongside HR for recruitment needs;
  • Ensuring each shift has the necessary skills, including upskilling;
  • Management of labour holidays;
  • Working with the operations team to ensure correct skillsets are in place;
  • Accurate analysis of historic data in order to provide detailed forecasting of volume fluctuations in line with labour resource
  • Capturing of daily KPIs and pulling together a month KPI pack.
  • Identify all data sources on site in order to manipulate and extrapolate the information into a usable format
  • Establish strong relationships with the senior management team on site
  • Create, manage and develop a suite of reports
  • Support different stakeholders in interpreting data and analysing results
  • Presentation of data analysed with clear goals for the development of productivities and processes throughout the site
