Resource Coordinator - The Role
KHIPU’s Rescue Coordinator is responsible for managing the allocation and utilization of resources for the Technical Team. This includes personnel, equipment, materials, and time, ensuring that the right resources are available to complete projects and scheduled work effectively.

Resource Coordinator Key Duties

  • Co-ordinate, plan, and schedule engineers for specific client engagements.
  • Work with specialist Team Managers, Project Co-Coordinators and Project Managers identify engineers based on experience, specialist skills and availability.
  • Maintain an up-to-date information source of engineer skill sets, availability and schedules, to assist in rapid identification and fulfilment of resource requirements.
  • Optimise the use of resources, highlight resource allocation conflicts and recommend resolutions.
  • Take ownership of problems and see them through to completion.
  • Escalate issues where necessary
  • Report on resource utilisation to help forecasting.
  • Follow and help develop existing Resource Management processes and procedures.
  • Use sound judgment and demonstrate initiative in carrying out assigned duties.
  • Achieve a high degree of familiarity with and in-depth knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Administration of the company Resource Management system.

Resource Coordinator You:

  • Previous Resource Management experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working within an IT Services company or technical environment is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in delivering Customer Service is essential.
  • Experience in compiling reports for customers and/or management.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic and a willingness to ‘go the extra mile.
  • Ability to work individually as well as with a team.
  • Able to keep calm and work under pressure.
  • Able to use office-based IT Systems.
