Our Resource Management (RM) team is essential in aligning talent, strategy, and processes to drive success. We are seeking a Resource Director ( EMEA) to manage and optimise talent allocation across the region, supporting our clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Demonstrated experience in resource management within communications, PR, media, advertising, creative, or marketing agencies.
- Strong planning and project management skills, with experience optimizing workflows.
- Interest in the Health sector and the ability to match talent with project requirements.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience working in diverse, international markets with cultural awareness.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to guide and influence decision-making processes.
- Knowledge of PowerBI and IR35 regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Resource Director (EMEA), you will manage resource allocation for approximately 140 professionals across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
You will collaborate with department leads, client managers, project managers, and business leaders to ensure that projects are properly staffed and resources are utilised efficiently.
This role requires excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to inspire and lead teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage resourcing for Health teams across EMEA in collaboration with local resource managers.
- Work with client leads, project managers, and business leaders to assess project needs and ensure appropriate staffing.
- Serve as the primary contact for resourcing needs, managing assignments within and across resource pools.
- Identify and allocate talent based on individual strengths and client requirements, ensuring projects are set up for success.
- Mediate competing priorities for resources and manage project prioritisation.
- Provide regular updates to staffing plans and ensure timesheets are completed.
- Track and analyze staff availability, billability, and project trends to guide headcount planning.
- Collaborate with HR and department leads to address skill gaps and develop hiring plans.
- Lead the hiring validation process with health department leads, finance, and HR.
- Ensure timely communication of any staffing issues or changes, such as absences.
- Train client and project leads on resource planning tools like OneRMP.
- Manage freelance needs, ensuring compliance with UK IR35 regulations.
- Work closely with the wider RM team to ensure business continuity during holidays or absences.
