Responsibilities:

The core of Resource Management at BASE life science is to deploy the right resources strategically and systematically, with the right skills and availability, to the right projects at the right time. Facilitate and support resource allocation, to ensure that both project and personal needs are met, and to support satisfaction.

As a Resource Management Consultant your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with department heads and project managers to assess resource needs and allocate resources based on project requirements and skill sets.
  • Propose and assign available resources to projects in accordance with their skillsets, previous experience, and availability.
  • Maintain the database of employee skills, certifications, and availability to facilitate efficient resource allocation and planning.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication and collaboration to ensure a good approach to resource management and allocation.
  • Provide support and guidance in resolving resource-related conflicts, challenges, systems.
  • Monitor project pipelines and forecast future resource requirements to proactively address potential staffing issues and ensure adequate resource availability.
  • Monitoring and managing employees’ workload, utilization, and overtime hours.
  • Support and facilitate the process of certification of employees, communicate with vendors and maintain database of certifications.
  • Tracking, analysing and documenting processes (e.g. weekly capacity report, etc.).
  • Facilitate frequent resource management meetings with CEMAN, engagement leads, project and people managers.
