Before submitting your application, we recommend you read the job description. Our Life at Surrey handbook also attached provides insights of the culture at Surrey and how as a valued employee, you can help shape our Council.

Responsibilities:

We focus on finding the best placements for children and young people, whether it’s fostering, residential care, or supported accommodation. We handle searches across both our in-house provision and external providers.
Our team is incredibly supportive and is part of the Gateway to Resources Service within the Children’s, Families, and Lifelong Learning Directorate. We collaborate closely with other professionals and agencies to ensure that each child and young person is matched with a placement that will help them achieve the best outcomes.
In this role, you’ll manage a caseload of children and young people, actively seeking out the right placements for them. This includes both planned and emergency placements for children, young people, and care leavers. It’s a really rewarding role where you can make a significant difference in their lives.
You’ll be part of a team that is dedicated to making a positive difference in the community, one placement at a time, by putting people first and striving for excellence in everything we do.
