It’s an exciting time to join, as we have a huge ambition to deliver bigger and better than ever before over our next 5-year regulatory period. If you’re seeking an exciting and thoroughly rewarding career in recruitment, Severn Trent is the place to be.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have an opportunity for you to join our Resourcing team in Human Resources, as a Resourcing Business Partner. This role is offered on a permanent basis and will be based at our head office in Coventry city centre.
As an integral part of the team, our Resourcing Business Partners are accountable for end-to-end recruitment across a defined business directorate. Strategically partnering with managers and senior leaders within your area, you will design and execute creative recruitment strategies to help attract the best talent into Severn Trent. You’ll lead the process from identifying and assessing suitable talent using various sourcing techniques, through to providing an amazing candidate experience to our new starters.
Along the way, you’ll build credible relationships with your stakeholders, ensuring you become a trusted ally and subject matter expert within your field. You’ll also have the chance to work on value-add projects both for your business area and the communities we serve and represent.
As a Resourcing Business Partner, you will be required to manage all permanent vacancies within your business area, so understanding the external talent landscape and how this influences the broader Severn Trent talent strategy will be key. As you’ll be dealing with stakeholders at all levels, you’ll need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
This role is suitable for agency recruiters looking to transition to an in-house environment, or for experienced internal recruiters looking to progress their careers. We’d be keen to speak with individuals who have a background in technical Operational recruitment and who has managed high volume previously, however this is not essential if you have the right transferable recruitment experience.
