Description:

Our people are what makes Severn Trent a truly exciting and inclusive place to work. We’re a team of over 7,000 people with a purpose to deliver one of life’s essentials. We do it all while thriving in our unique culture and making a lasting difference to our planet, society, and careers.
Collectively we provide an essential service to millions of customers in our region, so the only question is… why wouldn’t you want to be part of that?

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We have an opportunity available for a Resourcing Consultant to join our busy Resourcing and New Talent team in Human Resources on a permanent basis. The role is based at our head office in Coventry (Severn Trent Centre).
As a Resourcing Consultant you’ll be responsible for supporting our Resourcing Business Partners with the delivery of recruitment solutions into a defined business area.
You’ll provide support at each stage of the recruitment process, from briefing through to offer approval, helping to provide an outstanding service to candidates and internal stakeholders alike.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

  • Taking accurate briefs from hiring managers on their recruitment needs
  • Writing compelling and engaging job adverts in line with our company brand and tone of voice guidelines
  • Identifying and screening candidate CVs that are suitable for opportunities at Severn Trent
  • Scheduling interviews and assessment centres
  • Managing the offer approval process, including securely capturing right to work documents in line with GDPR

Responsibilities:

You’ll join our team with experience gained from either a recruitment agency or internal recruitment background.
To be successful, you’ll need to be customer focused, process driven and have an interest in working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
This role will include dealing with stakeholders at all levels, therefore you’ll need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity, and a caring attitude we want to talk to you too.
We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We want people who show up and get involve. Those who are ready to be part of something bigger and who want to make a difference because they care.
