  • Proven track record of executing successful recruitment campaigns to attract top talent. Experience in executive recruitment is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written across all levels, including the ability to produce reports, plans and present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong prioritisation skills for effective time and workload management
  • Proficient in analysing, managing, and reporting recruitment or HR information and data within a large, multi-disciplinary organisation
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, fostering and maintaining strong, influential relationships both internally and externally, including senior stakeholder engagement and management
  • Confident in engaging in settings, such as assessment centres, job fairs, and events

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Resourcing Officer to join our award-winning team. In this role, you will focus on leading the delivery of our recruitment initiatives and products for both WME and the wider region including;

  • WMJobs jobs board and candidate attraction
  • Coordination of Executive recruitment activities.
  • Assessment and psychometrics
  • Digital Recruitment Solutions including the Applicant Tracking System

Your recruitment experience and passion for attracting talent will play a crucial role in strengthening the West Midlands’ public sector workforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OUR RESOURCING OFFICERS INCLUDE:

  • Lead the delivery of WME internal recruitment, providing advice and guidance to hiring managers, placing adverts and co-ordinating assessment processes
  • Oversee project activities for Executive Recruitment, ensuring our customers receive top-tier service
  • Play a key role in recommending and designing future attraction strategies for successful candidate recruitment
  • Develop, maintain and update own knowledge and skills base on the latest resourcing market trends and digital solutions to ensure an advanced knowledge is maintained so new innovative tools and solutions are introduced across the region
  • Deliver service desk support responding to complex queries quickly and efficiently
  • Co-ordinate a quarterly network of recruitment peers within shared service, organising event logistics and proposing exciting agenda items that stimulate innovation, efficiency and increase shared learning
  • Support the delivery and attendance at events including jobs fairs and projects as required, specifically delivery of assessment centres for Executive Recruitment campaigns on site with clients
  • Work alongside the resourcing team consultants consider new and emerging technologies, legislation and market research to assess opportunities to introduce new tools or ways of working to increase efficiency, improve experience throughout the resourcing process
  • Support the maintenance and development of WMJobs job board including the attraction and retention of both job seekers and recruiters
  • Manage and support the delivery of regional attraction campaigns
