Respiratory/Oxygen Practitioner

The person appointed will be expected to undertake a range of duties to include: To work collaboratively within the Multi-Disciplinary Team and with other health care professionals to ensure a consistently high quality and equitable service throughout the Health Board. To act in an advisory capacity, using clinical knowledge to inform decision making regarding patient care. Support local initiatives at removing interagency barriers and maintain excellent professional links with health and social care providers to promote effective communication and joint working practices. To work within and adhere to the Professional code of conduct; standards and guidance at all times, ensuring that issues of concern are escalated appropriately.
To act at all times as a role model, presenting a professional approach and ensuring the standards for professionalism are set and displayed within the team. To provide professional advice to where applicable within the team. To work autonomously, making clinical decisions within own competency and ensuring effective caseload management continuously reprioritizing to meet the changing clinical demands of the service.
