OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee our food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on restaurant management and customer service. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage a team effectively while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service are maintained.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to lead by example.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems for order management and financial reporting.
  • Excellent team management abilities, fostering collaboration among staff members.
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to supervise multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of food service operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of meals.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for all food service activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience within the hotel or restaurant.
