Description:

Pride Thai Limited owns 2 Restaurant Mornington Thai & Andersons Bay Thai both of them are well renowned restaurant in the Otago region and now on high demand we will be opening both of our restaurants (In Mornington and in Andersons Bay Thai for longer hours, for which we require 3 x restaurant managers to work full time (minimum 30 hours) on rotational shifts.
The hourly payrate will range from $29.70 to $32.00. If you have a passion for customer service, love working with a team, and can multitask in a busy environment, then this position could be for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and manage bookings of special events and functions
  • Plan and coordinate marketing and promotion
  • Oversee purchasing and pricing of goods within budget constraints
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and financial records
  • Plan menus with chefs/cooks
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, functional, and inviting dining environment
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by implementing continuous improvement measures
  • Recruit, train, and supervise wait and kitchen staff
  • Assist with reservations, serving food and order-taking as needed
  • Comply with health and safety requirements Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cafe or restaurant management OR relevant customer service experience similar industry OR qualification in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service, problem solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management and financial record-keeping
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours, shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
