Description:

The Pinawa Club is a year-round, 175-seat restaurant overlooking the Pinawa Golf Course, serving both members and the public. We offer high-quality dining and memorable events year-round.
We’re seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operation. The ideal candidate will have initiative, strong leadership and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations.
  • Direct, schedule and supervise 15-30 staff.
  • Track budgets in conjunction with the finance manager.
  • Ensure high level of customer service.
  • Provide duties as a ‘hands-on’ employee when required.
  • Attend board meetings and report to the board on financial performance and operations.

Qualifications (Required):

  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with POS systems in a restaurant environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Work well under pressure.

Qualifications (Desired):

  • 5+ years of management experience in the food industry.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,500.00-$75,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Hospitality: 5 years (preferred)
