Description:
Job Position: Restaurant Manager
Location: 124 Cuba Street, Te Aro, Wellington 6011
Working Hours: 35 - 45 Hours
Reports to: Director and Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years experience in F & B, preferably with managerial experience, OR
- A relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality management.
- Excellent guest interaction skills, communication skills and customer service skills.
- Pleasant, service-oriented and outgoing personality.
- Candidates with bilingual skills in English and Thai would be preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Provide an exciting and pleasant dining experience to customers.
- Achieve restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees.
- Achieve restaurant operational objectives through strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity and quality.
- Maintain customer service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change.
- Meets restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Plan menus by consulting with chefs, estimating food costs and profits, and adjusting menus.
- Control costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimising waste; and ensuring high quality of preparation.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and securing revenues.
- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensures employees do the same within the team.
- Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
- Empower employees to provide excellent customer service.
