QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience with restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and a consistently high-quality guest experience.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of staff, creating a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage staff schedules, labour costs, and ensure the team maintains proper service levels during peak hours.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to all health and safety standards.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage supply levels to maintain cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure food quality and timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost restaurant visibility and drive sales.
  • Analyse financial performance, track expenses, and ensure the restaurant meets budget goals.
  • Maintain compliance with restaurant policies.
