Are you a hospitality enthusiast with a flair for the food and beverage industry? If you are seeking an exciting role in a vibrant workplace, look no further than Regina’s coolest independent hotel (hint- it’s us)! We’re on the hunt for a Restaurant & Pub Supervisor to join our dynamic Crew.
Your mission? Step in to assist our Restaurant & Pub Manager in overseeing the DISH Restaurant, Knotted Thistle Pub, and Room Service operations and elevate our food & beverage experiences to new heights. This is a full-time opportunity with flexible hours, spanning both weekdays and weekends.

YOUR PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the hotel’s onsite restaurant and pub.
  • Work hands-on with servers, to support the crew leading by example.
  • Handle customer issues promptly and effectively to uphold guest satisfaction.
  • Assist the Restaurant & Pub Manager in scheduling staff shifts for optimal coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Review payroll hours for accuracy.
  • Order and manage supplies.
  • Log and follow up on reservations to ensure effective table management.
  • Train and mentor crew members, promoting adherence to brand standards.
  • Utilize POS systems efficiently for sales, inventory, and reporting tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A background in Food & Beverage with 1 to 2 years of experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in training and mentoring crew members.
  • Strong hands-on approach and willingness to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the team.
  • Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for engaging with the public.
  • Ability to resolve customer issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Flexibility to primarily work evening shifts, including weekends, while being adaptable to daytime shifts as needed.
  • You have a Serve It Right Certificate or are willing to obtain it.
