The Opportunity
As a social enterprise operated by Habitat for Humanity, ReStore is a significant driver of revenue for affiliates nationally, which is directly tied to their ability to build strength, stability, and independence through affordable housing.
The BC ReStore Procurement & Logistics Manager is a key part of the National procurement team at Habitat Canada. As the BC ReStore Procurement and Logistics Manager for Habitat for Humanity Canada’s ReStore, you play a pivotal role in maximizing the procurement of gift-in-kind products to support local Habitats in BC. Working closely with external partners, including donors, logistic companies, and ReStore leaders, you devise and execute strategies to optimize product procurement and shipment.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS SET

  • Post-Secondary education in a related field.
  • Strong business acumen, demonstrating a superior understanding of retail operations, business processes, and a working knowledge of commercial agreements.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret data, identify trends, and reach accurate conclusions, as well as translating and presenting that information to drive change.
  • Ability to work under pressure and successfully manage multiple projects with demonstrated outcomes and excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to represent HFHC professionally and build strong and steward relationships with all stakeholders including affiliate leaders, ReStore leaders and staff, customers, donors, and strategic partners.
  • A willingness to learn new technology, work collaboratively and be willing to quickly shift priorities will give the ideal candidate the best chance for success in this role.
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Dynamics).
