Provide evidenced based training for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals and clinical support groups within the field of Deterioration, Resuscitation and Emergency Care. Facilitate the Resuscitation Council (UK) Immediate Life Support Course. Support the Senior Resuscitation Practitioner in running the Resuscitation Council (UK) Advanced Life Support Course Provide training for medical on-call groups part of a rolling programme Support the education of Foundation Doctors with Simulation Training Support the Senior Resuscitation Practitioner in running ward based cardiac arrest simulation Undertake clinical audit as directed by the Matron to maintain a database of in-house NEWS and Cardiac arrest calls. Undertake the annual audits as directed by Matron and feedback results to the Cross site Deteriorating patient and Resuscitation Committee Follow up on cardiac arrest calls and input information onto a database to assist with the annual Cardiac Arrest report and NCAA data.
