• 25.3 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday 9am – 4pm; Saturday 10am - 4pm)

• Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
• Current tetanus vaccination.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, contributing to a positive retail environment, and supporting the efficient operation of our retail store at our Burwood East site. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service, including product knowledge, sales, and after-sales support.
• Actively promoting RSPCA Victoria’s mission and products to customers.
• Assisting with stock management, including ordering, receiving, pricing, and merchandising.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment.
• Contributing to the success of the retail team through collaboration and teamwork.

The Retail Assistant is responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences while contributing to the overall success of RSPCA Victoria’s retail operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Contribution to achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Providing informative and engaging customer service, promoting animal welfare and RSPCA Victoria’s products and services.
• Efficiently managing stock levels through ordering, receiving, and merchandising.
• Maximizing sales through effective merchandising and upselling techniques.
• Contributing to the success of the e-commerce platform through order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Supporting the team in creating a positive and inclusive work environment
