Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be an Assistant Manager in our Fresh store at the University of Bath. We want to hear from you if you excel in people management, task prioritisation, and maintaining high store standards!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • People Management: Lead, motivate, and develop your team to ensure a positive and productive work environment. You will be confident in supporting the team to perform and take corrective action when required to get them back on track.
  • Task Prioritisation: Efficiently manage and delegate tasks to ensure smooth and effective store operations.
  • Store Standards: Uphold the store’s highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising. To be a visible presence on the shop floor and pick up and resolve issues at the earliest opportunity.
  • Accurate Ordering: Ensure accurate and timely stock ordering to meet customer demand and minimise waste.
  • Planograms: Implement and maintain planograms to optimise product placement and maximise sales.
  • Stock Control Routines: Oversee stock control routines to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimise shrinkage. To support the planning of term time trade changes and actively plan towards these.
    Incident Management: Log and promptly follow up on incidents and work requests, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.
