Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Compliance Analyst to join our team. As Retail Compliance Analyst you are responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the Retail Compliance team, with the overarching objective of supporting the implementation of compliance policies in line with the risk appetite of the wider business. This involves analysing customer activity and raising awareness of risks to retail operations, in addition to working within the Retail Compliance framework.
The Retail Compliance Analyst will maintain a high standard of accuracy to ensure decision making can be undertaken by senior management in line with Regulatory Compliance, Responsible Gambling practices and Data Protection. Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Uphold regulatory requirements and prioritize Safer Gambling in daily operations, aiming to meet and exceed standards
  • Ensure Safer Gambling and Player Safety are integral to all tasks while supporting and adhering to compliance policies and procedures
  • Conduct quality assurance to enhance technical knowledge and standards
  • Analyse and compile audits and reviews to highlight non-compliance, customer concerns, business issues, and improvement areas, presenting findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Communicate and report identified issues and improvement opportunities to senior management
  • Identify and understand compliance risks within the Retail Estate, prioritize them effectively, and collaborate with senior management to implement preventative measures that mitigate these risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and the Retail estate to provide guidance and ensure compliance processes are applied effectively
  • Identify AML risks to prevent illegal activities and ensure compliance with KYC procedures reporting suspicious activities promptly to relevant stakeholders
