Pay Grade: 18
Salary: $105,000 - $130,000
Other Forms of Compensation: 25% Field Incentive Plan bonus eligible
JOB SUMMARY
The Retail Director will manage and support program operations and customer/client success in the retail landscape. The Director will collaborate closely with product experts, data and operational teams to support planning and implementation of program initiatives based on organizational goals and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management or related field
- 5+ years professional experience in retail, foodservice or agency
- Business acumen to analyze category performance and make recommendations
- Experience with mobile/digital marketing and analysis
- Analytical skills and firm understanding of data sources, modeling, and executive level reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategize programs from pilot to scale, plan and organize deliverables, required resources, timeline, and budgets
- Supports strategy, implementation, and evaluation of new scalable retail programs
- Assess current programming for evaluation and identify areas of improvement
- Collaborates closely with data and analytics teams to gather, arrange, and deliver analysis
- Collaborates across a matrixed organization including a diverse team of associates, suppliers and clients and retail operators
- Monitors the industry and competitive landscape. Analyzes internal and external data such as sales, sourcing, and pricing. Identifies patterns and market trends to help refine product strategies
- Work closely with Foodbuy to drive the preferred vendor partners
- Track retail trends for business sectors with a focus on experience and planning to drive revenue through design, product assortment, merchandising, digital and more
- Work with several teams including creative, design and research and vendors to continuously improve retail strategy
- Support operational teams with training, field implementation and new account openings
- Support and manage the day-to-day retail implementation, including presentation development, performance analysis, and client interface
- Contribute to a positive working environment while creating a retail mindset
