Description:

Amplifon Americas, a global leader in hearing health care, has a strong demand for an authentic, creative, diverse and versatile candidate for our Retail Excellence Training Specialist role. We are looking for someone who is forward-thinking to help us strive towards everyday excellence while focusing on customer devotion and personal impact to ensure we are acting responsibly in everything we do.As our Retail Excellence Training Specialist, you will support the development of Amplifon Canada’s Hearing Care Professionals through coaching and structured training programs. By monitoring the learning outcomes and collaborating with field managers, you will advise field managers on any performance opportunities or skill gaps, and provide feedback on action plans. You will also support the onboarding of our new hires by ensuring that each new shop professional is equipped with the right foundational competencies and knowledge. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders will be critical to designing local content and materials, within a global framework.Key Responsibilities:

  • Based on Store Visit outcomes, partner with Senior Area Managers to discuss clinical professionals KPIs and related skill gaps and define the area action plan
  • Deliver training initiatives, following the planned training schedule per month, and ensuring quality training outcomes by using a variety of training methodologies to maximize reach and efficiency of training
  • Support the onboarding of new hires, ensuring that each new shop professional develops the right competencies and knowledge
  • Leverage Audiological background and industry knowledge to support Hearing Care Professional’s in creating trust with the customers to positively manage their expectations and experience and drive sales growth in line with Company goals, by strictly following company protocol

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Healthcare, Retail, or Consumer Product Goods industry experience preferred
  • Can adapt often highly technical content for varied audiences
  • Act as a training and development consultant while working on cross-functional teams both locally and globally
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of retail excellence concepts and processes, ideally within businesses with strong focus on providing service with outstanding customer experience
  • Experience building relationships with remote and global teams with a strong focus on communication, interpersonal skills and cross-functional problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn a variety of software systems
  • Experience developing dynamic learning materials and strong knowledge of design and development

Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Graduate from a recognized Hearing Instrument program or Master’s degree in Audiology
  • Registered and in good standing with applicable regulatory college or provincial governing body
  • Current knowledge of hearing aid technology and hearing aid devices
  • 2-4 years of experience in Training, Adult Education, Learning and Development, and/or Instructional Design, including content development
  • Experience with instructional formats including but not limited to virtual instructor-led, in-person instructor-led, self-study, and e-learning formats, video, and social media tools
  • Experience with training evaluation, able to analyze and measure learner’s success and propose necessary modifications for optimal learning effectiveness
  • Knowledge of content development tools such as Articulate or Captivate, SCORM/AICC, Microsoft 365, Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Learning Management Systems preferred
