As our Retail Account manager, you’ll play a key role in driving SumUp’s Sales Strategy across the Australia markets. You’ll manage and develop our retail channels, strategy, promotions and product development. SumUp Australia is looking for a retail leader to manage several Strategic Accounts across retail channels in Australia. This role will lead a retail strategy focused on the retention and growth of SumUp’s multiple retail channels and will serve as a senior contact for the Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, grow and lead all retail channel relationships across Australia.
  • Understand retail space planning, in-store execution and promotional planning
  • Build, lead and nurture current retail channels and build new channels of distribution
  • Define and implement key strategic initiatives to accelerate growth while improving efficiency
  • Analyse, structuring and optimisation tools, internal processes and the productivity retail channels
  • Collaborate with the customer service and onboarding team to ensure smooth onboarding of newly acquired merchants and retention of existing merchants.
  • Product strategy creation for existing and new hardware for merchant base.
  • Define, create value opportunity for Added Value Services (VAS)
  • Keep competition at bay via outstanding retail marketing activations, promotion, and critical account management
  • Manage 3rd party distributor for all retail channels
  • Secure operation excellence (Marketing POs, Forecast and Logistics)
  • Improve Trade marketing coordination/efficiency through retail channels
