Description:
Overview:
As our Logo Business Manager, you’ll be a pivotal figure in our retail operations, overseeing a team of passionate sales associates across multiple Big Sky Resort locations, including Lone Peak Logo, Big Sky Resort Store, Huntley Trading Post, Big Sky Cap Co., and Big Sky Candle Bar. You’ll collaborate closely with other retail managers and the retail distribution team to ensure smooth operations, optimize inventory, and maximize sales. Your extensive product knowledge and understanding of our retail landscape will be invaluable in driving sales, providing enriching customer service, and fostering a positive work environment. You’ll oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure that our retail outlets are always stocked with the latest products. Responsibilities:
- 3+ years of Retail Management experience preferred, but not required.
- Will be required to gain extensive knowledge of Big Sky Resort property, activities and the surrounding area
- Manage daily operations of multiple retail outlets
- Participate in staffing plans and hiring procedures
- Provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention
- Coordinate employee breaks effectively and efficiently
- Manage inventory control to meet or exceed inventory goals
- Effective communicator, who shows the ability to delegate tasks and follow up
- Ability to show attention to detail and accuracy when leading the sales associate team
- Play a part in the training of all team members by being a role model who administers company policies and guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Big Sky Resort payroll systems and team member portals, along with managing a Big Sky Resort company email
- Remain current on new industry trends and demonstrate knowledge of all products
- Participate in all required Big Sky Resort Retail employee training
- Weekly reporting on business metrics and goals
- Work with senior management and corporate teams on incoming purchase orders, product assortments, and merchandising.
Qualifications:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods, walk up and down staircases, carry boxes during 8-10 hr. shifts
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising
- Maintain a clean store by sweeping vacuuming empting trash and other general cleaning
- Ability to safely lift boxes from 30 lbs., up to 50 lbs. assisted
