Position Summary

This is an amazing opportunity within the TVAV Retail team. As a team we work across all product categories within Samsung TVAV and this role has the key objective to lead the planning and delivery of the rollout of fixtures and messaging of Samsung retail displays ensuring on time and to budget.
Working closely with our Product, Channel and Sales Managers to deliver in-store retail displays throughout multiple channels, this role will also engage with Brand, PR, Digital teams and external agencies to delivery great things within the retail space.
Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the TV/AV Retail relationship with our key partner John Lewis
  • Act as the key point of contact with the customer; develop an in depth knowledge of the store estate, project manage all activity, negotiate space, fees and opportunities, manage budgetary conversations and own the writing of and adherence to the space agreement
  • Oversee the strategy, planning, design, production and rollout of new retail displays
  • Oversee the installation of new product lines across the total retail estate including reviewing installation reports and problem solving
  • Working with the Sales team to manage branded display stock requirements and update the business accordingly
  • Work with the GTM function to prepare and roll out generic and promotional messaging
  • Work with approved external agencies for design, production, installation and maintenance ensuring accurate briefings are maintained
  • Work closely with the Field Team on all launch plans and new display implementation
  • Ensure the delivery of regular management and reporting
  • Be responsible for budgeting and leading retail spend ensuring internal marketing processes are being followed prior to committing any spend
  • Run complex projects from concept through to fruition
  • Explore and build relationships with other markets, learning from and knowing the current trends within this space across the UK
  • Actively seek to secure insight from your retail Partners and feed this into the GTM Function/Insight Team, making recommendations when appropriate
  • Measure the return on investment for every activation you lead
  • Deliver alignment of execution across the Retail Team
  • Ad hoc duties as outlined by Head of Retail.
  • Ensure delivery on time, on budget and aligned with HQ communication strategy as advised by the Product Management team
  • Develop elite new retail solutions, as briefed by the Marketing Management teams for example specialist retail solutions such as shop in shops and islands
  • Ensure the maintenance and up-keep of existing premium retail displays

Skills and Qualifications

  • A high degree of integrity with experience in Retail Marketing demonstrating a deep knowledge of the consumer shopper journey;

  • The desire to drive a ‘test and learn’ culture across the division to ensure we’re always putting the customer at the heart of what we do.
  • A strong communicator and presenter, confident with presenting to an audience of all levels;
  • High organised with excellent project management skills;
  • PC Literate, with strong working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and good with numbers.
