Job Description
The Retail Media Account Director position is a critical hire within the Commerce team in the agency and aimed at delivering best-in-class online retail strategy and uncovering growth opportunities. The successful applicant will have strong strategic, communication, and presentation skills, and be adept at solving complex business problems in a matrixed organisation.
We’re looking for somebody with experience in campaign management, plus a deep understanding of eCommerce, retail optimisation, portfolio management, and data insights. Experience or interest in social commerce is a plus. The role involves assessing challenges, offering innovative solutions, and effectively communicating these to a senior audience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a senior Account Manager or Account Director in retail media
  • Must have experience with Amazon and UK retailers
  • Desired experience in social commerce or paid social would be very beneficial, as well as in store digital displays, but the willingness to learn is key.
  • Skills in building presentations, responses and recommendations to clients within commerce
  • You need to have great communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills – our clients like to be challenged, but with diplomacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commerce team and Director on your account by responding to briefs, making strategic suggestions, reporting, and presenting to the client.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive retail strategies that aligns with the overall client business objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for retailers and incorporate into strategic decisions that will help the client improve their performance.
  • Work closely with internal data teams to understand customer preferences and behaviours, leveraging data insights to enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Manage an international team of up to 5 Account Managers and Executives
