Job Description
The Retail Media Account Director position is a critical hire within the Commerce team in the agency and aimed at delivering best-in-class online retail strategy and uncovering growth opportunities. The successful applicant will have strong strategic, communication, and presentation skills, and be adept at solving complex business problems in a matrixed organisation.
We’re looking for somebody with experience in campaign management, plus a deep understanding of eCommerce, retail optimisation, portfolio management, and data insights. Experience or interest in social commerce is a plus. The role involves assessing challenges, offering innovative solutions, and effectively communicating these to a senior audience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a senior Manager or Account Director in retail media OR retail strategy
- Desired experience in social commerce or paid social would be very beneficial, but the willingness to learn is key.
- Skills in building presentations, responses and recommendations to clients within commerce
- You need to have great communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills – our clients like to be challenged, but with diplomacy.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Commerce team and Director on your account by responding to briefs, making strategic suggestions, reporting, and presenting to the client.
- Develop and implement comprehensive retail strategies that aligns with the overall client business objectives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for retailers and incorporate into strategic decisions that will help the client improve their performance.
- Work closely with internal data teams to understand customer preferences and behaviours, leveraging data insights to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the solutions team to build scalable and repeatable solutions to actionable insights from diverse data sources, including social platforms, sales data, and market trends.
- Stay abreast of social commerce industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
