Description:
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in store schedules and required staffing levels based on trading hours and customer transaction patterns
- A working knowledge of the Just Group Retail Agreement 2019 and associated scheduling guidelines
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- The ability to manage deadlines and escalate risks to appropriate level of management
- To proactively identify areas of improvement and develop solutions
- The ability to multi-task and to prioritise and work unsupervised
- To stay calm and polite in all situations and provide outstanding customer service
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Retail Operations Team Leader, we are seeking an enthusiastic all-rounder to join our team as a Retail Operations Assistant within our Store Scheduling function. This role will provide support to the Retail Operations team through administering, monitoring and maintaining Dayforce (Store Timesheet and Scheduling system) to ensure our store schedules are compliant, efficient and in line with weekly deadlines and store budgets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Update all existing and new team member work patterns into Dayforce when requested from the retail teams
- Ensure all Pay Approve Checklists are completed in line with payroll cut off deadlines
- Follow up all unapproved Pay Approve Checklists and escalate accordingly in order to meet payroll cut off deadlines
- Receive and respond to all store scheduling and Dayforce system enquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner including HEAT requests
- Coach new Store Managers and Team Members on how to utilise Dayforce
- Monitor Store schedule exceptions and identify areas of opportunity to resolve common areas of concern or maximise Dayforce system functionality
- Assist with compliance-based reporting and action accordingly
- Support in covering Reception front desk and mail room during peak times or when team members are on leave
- Maintain various software applications for retail teams
