We proudly offer many products you’ll only find with an Anagram label.Job Description:The Retail Sales Analyst tracks and analyzes point of sales (POS) for assigned retail partner. Based on the analysis; the analyst provides a summary and recommendation to the account team relative to potential forecast changes. The analyst acts as the focal point for Product, Process and retail partner information. The analyst fosters and maintains the relationships with the retail partner.Responsibilities and Duties:• Monitor sales on weekly, monthly basis at Point of Sales base (based on customer ability to supply information and method of transmission.• Monitor POS data accuracy. If the data is not logically correct, communicate with retail partner and resolve the situation.• Evaluate sales versus business plan and sales forecasts. Communicate with Sales Management on changes versus plan. If sales are increasing, discuss with management regarding current forecasts and recommended changes. If sales not meeting plan, discuss with management potential reasons for shortfall.• Evaluate Sales and Inventory status in each location. Find too low or high inventory allocation at each point and propose the appropriate reallocation and reason to sales management.• Support Retail partner buying staff with trend analysis, inventory on hand analysis, inventory on order and other variables to improve sales at POS.• Work with Sales Management to develop recommended countermeasures for POS improvement. Support implementation and execution of marketing and promotional programs to monitor changes in POS rates from promotional activities.• Work closely with information content creators to ensure materials are created and relevant.• Suggests and implements modifications to data collection, currency and communication processes in order drive efficiency and effectiveness.• Maintains email distribution, directory and phone contact list from all active retail partners.This job specification should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position. Incumbents will follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as required by their supervisor.Knowledge/Skills Required:• Requires college degree in business or equivalent work experience accepted in lieu of degree.• Requires minimum 3 years experience in a similar capacity: supply chain management, sales forecasting, data analysis, market planning and analysis.• College degree related to marketing and or business management preferred or related experience with product management and forecasting.• Strong analytical skills. Ability to identify actionable items/recommendations to management based on analysis of data.• Ability to effectively influence others actions to achieve common goal.• Well-developed skills of persuasion and negotiation as well as presentation skills.• Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize, manage and perform multiple work streams concurrently.• Process oriented. Ability to identify and articulate process improvements that result in simplification, efficiency, and improved business results.• High degree of competency with software platforms.• Works well within a team environment.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
