The retail associate helps customers while they shop, answers questions, and assists in daily store operations. In this role, you serve as a representative of the retail brand and play an essential role in the store’s overall success. ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Greet customers when they arrive at the store and ask if they need assistance
• Process sales transactions at the POS (point-of-sale) counter
• Suggest upselling items to customers based on the things they have chosen
• Replace merchandise on the shelves, paying particular attention to displays
• Regularly change displays and remerchandise the store
• Continuously improve product expert status by way of regular updating of product knowledge
• Assist customers in finding merchandise and making purchasing decisions
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle
• Provide resort information to guests
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and proper storage of all products and fixtures
• Be a continuous ambassador for Sun Peaks Resort and all activities and events throughout the season
