INTRODUCTION

Classic Granite & Marble has a 98,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art fabrication and production facility with an award-winning showroom located conveniently off Route 60 in Powhatan, VA. We carry an inventory of over 8,000 slabs including 300 different colors in our indoor facility. We handle all projects from beginning to end, which includes laser templating, CAD, fabrication, and installation.
Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, positive individuals with amazing people skills and attention to detail! Our clients include both residential homeowners and building contractors, and candidates need to not only be able to interface between our clients, but also between the various departments and employees.

JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Sales Specialist fully responsible for taking each project from first contact through to the next team, requiring both external communication with customers and internal communication with CGM departments. The Residential / Retail Sales Specialist must also have the ability to offer design elements within estimates, when requested. This person ensures complete customer satisfaction while meeting internal requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required education: High School or equivalent
• Proficiency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
• Knowledge, or ability to learn, of reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
• Basic math skills, including square footage calculations
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays, with corresponding weekday off.

• Use retail portals and proprietary software to document details of every project
• Lead customer-centric showroom experience by greeting clients and determining their wants, needs, and investment range
• Prepare for appointments, commute to/from appointments and process sales-related paperwork and complete in home estimates with clients.
• Educate clients regarding current design styles and trends, the selection process, and various stone
• Work with clients, other departments, and occasionally with store team members, by asking appropriate questions and translating answers into creative design solutions
• Reviews selections with clients, ensuring the client clearly understand the process, obtains all necessary signatures and payments
• Prepares customer pricing, contracts, and documents
• Perform proactive and consistent follow up with all clients and projects, ensuring projects are executed accurately
• Additional duties as assigned.
