REQUIREMENTS:

· Excellent communication skills in a customer facing role.

· Strong organizational skills and can work in a tidy manner.
· Ability to upsell and cross-sell products.
· Time management skills
· Basic math skills for processing transactions
· A friendly disposition who can connect well with both your colleagues and our customers.
· Be presentable.
· Can work at pace accurately and efficiently.
· Be willing and able to learn new skills.
· Be physically fit as the nature of the role require regular lifting of kilt outfits and carrying up and down stairs.
Working a total of 11.5 Hours
Working every Saturday 9.00am – 5.00pm (7.5) and Sunday 12.00pm – 4.00pm (4) and
Additional overtime may be available during peak periods and staff holidays.

THE ROLE

McCalls are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing products that meet their needs. If you have excellent communication skills and a passion for sales, we would like to meet you. The applicant must have experience working in a customer facing role, be presentable, and have good customer service skills with a confident telephone manner. A knowledge of highland wear and/or hire would be preferable, and basic computer literacy would also be an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working alongside the existing team you will be offering our customers the best experience possible.
· Greet and assist customers as they enter the store or a zoom appointment.
· Provide product information to customers.
· Recommend products based on customer needs.
· Upsell products to increase revenue.
· Answer telephone calls in a professional manner.
· Dispatch and receive Hire returns ensuring all goods are correct.
· Unpack hire goods and clean and repair where required.
· Maintain a clean and organized sales floor Process sales and hires with precision and accuracy
