RETAIL SHOP ASSISTANT ‘FISH COUNTER’

Kish Fish is a Multi-Award Winning Family Seafood Business and is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused, and experienced retail shop assistant to join our retail team in HOWTH, West Pier.
The successful candidates will be friendly, hard-working, and customer-oriented.
Hours: Full-time, including weekends and bank holidays
Salary: competitive, negotiable, and depending on the experience
To work in a busy retail environment includes selling and preparing fish to customers’ requirements. Cash handling and customer service.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES:

• Minimum two years sales experience, ideally in the fresh food industry
• Good communication skills with fluent English
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• High level of customer service to represent the company’s good reputation at all times
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: From €14.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week

Experience:

• retail assistant: 2 years (preferred)

• Set up a well-presented fish counter and maintain presentation during the whole day (training provided).
• Provide product information and advice to customers across the company’s range.
• Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times.
• Adhere to the excellent food, safety, and hygiene standards.
