DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Shop & E-commerce Manager to join our team at a Century Gold in Dubai. As the Retail Shop & E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our physical stores and managing our online presence to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
You will play a crucial role in driving the success of our business by developing and implementing effective strategies to attract new customers, enhance customer engagement, and increase sales both online and offline platforms. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven 05+ experience in sales management, preferably in the retail jewelry and or luxury goods industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experienced in managing the E-commerce platforms and social media post handlings and marketing strategies.
  • Language Proficiency required in Arabic, English, Farsi, and Hindi is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, Power point
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and E-Commerce platforms.
  • Ability to multitask prioritizes tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Master’s (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Retail Gold Jewellery Shop: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Ecommerce Management: 3 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  1. Overall Shop & Ecommerce Management:
  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail gold Jewelry shops & Ecommerce portals of Century Gold.
  • Ensure alignment with company policies, standards, and operational procedures across all point of Sales.
  • Monitor performance metrics and take proactive measures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  1. Shop Maintenance:
  • Responsible for coordinating of overall Maintenance activities to uphold the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of retail shops.
  • Liaise with maintenance vendors and service providers to address any repairs or issues promptly with respect to Fixture, Decoration, Signage, Electric appliance, Glass, Cleanliness, etc.
  • Computers/POS, Barcode scanner, Printers, Server, CCTV and Other equipment’s at Shop must be checked regularly and ensuring is always in the working condition.
  • Responsible for the carrying out the regular Fire Maintenance services at all the shops.
  1. Renewals Coordination and DED Promotion Schedule Tracking:
  • Responsible for coordinating with Main Office in terms of renewal of Trade License of all the Shops and its placement.
  • Manage lease renewals and contract agreements for retail shop locations.
  • Renewal of Company’s website portal hosting renewals and any up gradations, if required to fix bugs.
  • Coordinate with the Department of Economic Development (DED) to ensure compliance with promotion schedules and regulations to advice Management for enrollment.
  1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for the Shops and online Ecommerce platforms.
  • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and capitalize on opportunities to maximize sales performance.
  1. Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, stock rotation, and inventory accuracy.
  • Responsible to maintain the accurate Inventory entries in the ERP.
  • Generating, Printing and Tagging the Barcodes for all the products listed in the Shops. Also the Storeroom must be kept organized and clean.
  • To carry out regular Physical counts and Stock Audits based on the set parameters of the company policy.
  • Maintenance of the entire Inventory in the Shop at designated areas with upmost attention, safety and accuracy.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
  1. Quality Control & Compliance:
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Responsible for implementing the AML related task at shop level.
  • Timely reporting of products that are found to be in damaged condition or required any repairing.
  • Reporting of products that are found to be holding quality issues in terms of color, designing, placement, etc.
  • Implement quality control measures to safeguard the reputation of Century Gold Jewelry.
  1. E-Commerce Management and Improvisation:
  • Manage the Company’s Ecommerce portals, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and customer engagement.
  • Continuously improve the online shopping experience to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
  • Liaising with Social Media Team in terms of reviewing their Posting schedules and its content writing to be posted on various platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, etc.
  • Improvise the mobile optimization by implementing responsive design principles and mobile-friendly features to provide a seamless shopping experience across devices.
  • Optimization of payment and checkout processing ensuring security measures from trusted Gateways.
  • Responsible for the integration of Ecommerce website with Inventory Management systems to ensure real time inventory visibility and accurate stock levels. Also automating inventory syncing and alerts to prevent overselling and stockouts.
  • Responsible for customer support and engagement in terms of responses back to customers for their online enquiries. Also engaging with customers through personalized communications, targeted promotions, and loyalty programs to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Recommending ideas for Lifestyle & Product Photo-shoots for the target products/designs.
  • Responsible for performance monitoring and analysis.
  • Reviewing the Online Performance Activity report regularly and recommend any changes in advertisements strategies plus negotiation on fees and cost effectiveness.
  1. Customer Service Excellence:
  • Foster a culture of exceptional customer service among staff, ensuring that customer needs are met with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively, striving to exceed customer expectations.
  1. Staff Management and Training:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise sales staff, providing ongoing coaching, development, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure that staffs are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets.
  • Train all the fellow staffs at Shops in excellent capacity to handle overall Shop Operations independently and not just limited to Sales.
  • Responsible for making the KPI’s for each staff’s and discussing with Management on monthly basis.
  1. Data Entry Operation and Cash, Credit Card and other Payment Management:
  • Oversee data entry operations related to sales transactions, inventory management, and customer information.
  • Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash and credit card transactions with regular batch closing.
  • Handling of Shop Sales Cash Collections with full supporting to HO for bank deposits and maintaining the receipts as acknowledgment for internal records.
  • Monthly reconciling the POS Revenue and Cash/CC Deposits receipts. Any irregularities must be notified.
  • Petty cash account to be always maintained and submit timely with supporting for reimbursement.
  • Any expense to be carried at shop must be prior approved by the HO.
  1. Marketing and Promotion:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Identify the slow moving inventory/designs to list under promotion activity. Simultaneously to undertake studies practiced by competitors from business line to distinguish our marketing strategies.
  • To introduce various Card promotions scheme benefiting our target customers like Esaad and Fazza.
  • Channel up with prominent advertisement partners for brand establishment of the company.
  • Utilize various marketing channels to drive customer engagement and increase brand awareness.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
  • Implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in sales processes, customer service, and operational efficiency.
  1. Any Other Tasks:
  • As assigned by the Reporting Manager and or Top Management, must be adhered.
