DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

In this role you will:

  • Own sales targets for Smart Retail in scope. Define and execute appropriate sales strategies, channel, marketing, technical, operations and sales support programs to maximize sales, profitability, and Route-To-Market.
  • Be responsible for developing and executing an aggressive customer acquisition campaign in Latin American markets.
  • Articulate practical solutions for Smart Retail and demonstrate an ability to address customer pain points at a high level.
  • Maintain and build trusted executive-level client relationships.
  • Identify how Smart Retail products/solutions may bring value to clients in the relevant sectors.
  • Be responsible for leading, motivating, and coordinating with the regional sales and worldwide teams, e.g., product mgmt., R&D, delivery, marketing, etc. in pursuing Smart Retail solution business.
  • Be responsible for inspiring and facilitating Smart Retail business partners to thrive through outcome-oriented interactions & collaboration.
  • Review and guide Smart Retail business management and review systems to sustain and improve customer and channel satisfaction scores.

Travel as needed up to 25% per quarter across Central and South America countries.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Retail Solutions Sales Experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solution Selling experience
  • Experienced working cross-functionally across different BGs/departments.
  • Excellent communication, both oral and written, and polished presentation skills
  • Strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines
  • Understanding of industry trends, priorities, challenges, and market opportunities
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English

Key Tasks for SSDS:

  • Solution Expertise:
  • Work within dedicated territory/segment and work in concert with the SSE who is the responsible person for the SSG delivery on the account and, if applicable, the Solution Architect
  • Effectively partner with the ISO team to drive account penetration & support the overall strategy as set by the Client Manager
  • The SSDS will proactively seek out new opportunities, drive revenue growth, and help drive deals through to closure.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Densify and engage with key decision-makers within target customer organizations. Understand customer needs, pain points, and objectives to tailor Lenovo’s solutions effectively.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide end-to-end solutions that address customer requirements.
  • Industry Acumen:
  • Operates as a deep vertical and/or horizontal expertise (e.g. DaaS, SW, Manufacturing) with a keen understanding of both traditional and digital offerings.

Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the Digital Workplace Solutions and DaaS space. Leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools. Provide regular updates on sales performance and forecasts.
