Monkhouse at Chelmsford County High School is truly set in the heart of the community. The store is one of our campus stores which means it is situated within the school itself. It is pivotal in providing customers with uniform that gives children the confidence to flourish in their academic life cycle.
A good proportion of this confidence comes from the service and knowledge that our team holds and guides families with. You will play an important role in making this happen by managing all aspects of the store and living by our core values, using them to serve every customer.

What’s my location? We are located in Chelmsford County High School, Chelmsford, Essex, with good public transport links and free parking within the school grounds.
Our team. Every store has a dedicated manager that you will be reporting to and alongside you, there will be shop sales assistants who have experience but also new assistants who are joining for the first time.
Holidays. Your holiday entitlement is 28 days per anum including bank holidays, pro-rated to your hours of work and pro-rated to your term of employment. These accrued hours will be paid at the end of your contract.

- Maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
YOU WILL ALSO PLAY A CRUCIAL ROLE IN OUR SUSTAINABILITY EFFORTS:
- Reduce electricity usage by turning off unused lights and electronic equipment.
- Encourage your team to bring reusable water bottles to work.
- Ensure the responsible use of water to minimise wastage.
- Implement our recycling processes in the store.
