RETAIL SALES SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- 2+ year experience in sales, retail, or customer service environments
- Business administration proficiency a plus
- Experience in team leadership & facilitation of work

Responsibilities:
- Owning recruitment and onboarding of new makers to ensure the store is always at a 97%+ vendor occupancy.
- Hiring and training of new team members & scheduling in order to ensure the store is fully staffed at all times and operating within its weekly and monthly budgets.
- Motivating and inspiring your team to continuously work hard for our artisans, to ensure store sales are high and all our vendors succeed.
- Meeting weekly with your District Manager to review sales numbers, recruitment forecasts, and to collaborate on new ideas for how we can continuously learn and improve.
- Assisting new makers during their move in, providing support and guidance, and data entry/updates in Google Sheets & Paperform to keep track of all makers in store.
- Sharing your passion and knowledge about our products and vendors with customers in-store and by email.
- Resolving issues effectively at store level in a timely and positive manner.
- Processing point of sale transactions quickly and accurately.
- Staying current, understanding and communicating Shop Makers’ policies as well as the wide range of services and events offered.
- Ensuring the store is visually appealing and fulfills company standards through product presentation, replenishment, store housekeeping, store maintenance and visual displays.
