We are looking to fill the position of Retail Supervisor at Fernie Alpine Resort.
The primary focus of the Retail Supervisor’s role is to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of our internal and external guests through timely, effective and appropriate operations of Sports Alpine Boutique. The Retail Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Retail Manager in executing all aspects of the day-to-day running of the store.
You Will:
- Provide staff with daily direction as discussed with the Retail Manager
- Assist with selling and meeting daily sales targets
- Assist in merchandizing store to ensure ideal presentation of product
- Assist in pre-season set up & merchandising of Sports Alpine Boutique
- Assist in retail store security and risk management issues
- Maintain on-going communication with the Retail Rental Manager and SR Manager
- Implement disciplinary action if required
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Enforce policies, rule and protocols with staff
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
- Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
- To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
You have:
- Knowledge of all SAB policy and procedures
- Experience preparing products to be put on the floor, tagged and priced
- The ability to complete transfers to internal departments
- Dealt with Vendors for warranties
- Experience accurately completing cash outs and record keeping
- Proven experience monitoring stock levels and re-stocking products to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Knowledge of merchandising store to ensure ideal presentation of product
- Excellent communication skills
