Description:
The Role You Could Play
Reporting to the Senior Business Operations Manager, within a 12 month contract, the Retail Supply & Consumables Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end management of Goods Not For Resale (GNFR), encompassing retail packaging, supplies, and consumables. This pivotal role involves optimizing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness across our supply chain while ensuring high service levels to our stores.
Your day to day will involve:
- Overseeing the distribution of GNFR through the supply chain into stores, focusing on cost minimization and optimal service levels.
- Developing and implement strategies to monitor and optimize GNFR inventory, ensuring compliance and efficiency in item usage.
- Utilising advanced analytical skills to interpret consumption trends and spending patterns, implementing data-driven solutions.
- Maintaining stock health metrics to ensure continuous availability of non-live items.
- Enhancing system reporting accuracy and develop new state reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Managing external stakeholder relationships according to partnership standards, including KPI management and service level agreements.
What You Will Bring
- Experience in a retail environment, either on the shop floor or in a Support Centre.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with SQL.
- Experience in building analysis and forecasting across a diverse range of items and SKUs.
- Familiarity with allocation, replenishment, and expense management.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, both internal and external.
- Experience in supplier management and/or procurement.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to drive improvements hands-on.
