About the Role: We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Retail Support Clerk to join our team in Bristol. As a Retail Support Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store by handling administrative tasks, supporting inventory management, and assisting with customer inquiries. Your efficiency and dedication will help maintain a high standard of service and store organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a retail or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy retail environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operations of the store, including processing paperwork, updating records, and managing stock levels.
- Handle incoming deliveries, check inventory for accuracy, and organize stock in the stockroom.
- Support the sales team by providing up-to-date product information and assisting with customer inquiries when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, sales, and returns, ensuring all data is entered into the system promptly and correctly.
- Coordinate with the store manager to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
- Prepare reports on inventory, sales, and other key metrics as required by management.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor.
- Process online orders and assist with packaging and shipping as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Participate in regular store meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products, policies, and procedures.
