Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.

  • An Accounting qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • We are seeking a proactive individual who can independently identify and resolve problems, then collaborate with the Finance Director to enhance processes and outputs.
  • You will be comfortable using ERP Systems, have advanced excel skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations related to revenue transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with Credit Insurance requirements utilising Omnicom Credit Insurance platform.
  • Provide variance analysis by client to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on revenue performance.
  • Prepare monthly Inland Revenue returns.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate revenue processes.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor Debit WIP balances and prebills across clients.
  • Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, including quarterly SBOX reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
