Revenue Analyst

We are inviting applications for a Revenue Analyst position at our North Sydney office. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract and involves supporting the commercial finance lead in our diverse business. Our business offers a range of services, including Data, Technology Solutions, and Consulting to the healthcare industry.
In this role, you will support the commercial finance lead and collaborate with the finance and sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be managing the revenue performance for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring revenue is accounted for in line with corporate policies, GAAP, and SOX standards.
Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts and other necessary supporting documents for completeness and alignment with ASC 606 Revenue recognition standards. You will also ensure financial records in SFDC and SAP are in accordance with IQVIA payment/billing standards and other group policies.
Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and SAP is essential, with advanced Excel skills being particularly important. Your tasks will involve recording annual, multi-year, and ad-hoc contracts to SAP, supporting the month-end revenue close process, reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, preparing reports, monitoring deferred revenue balances, and ensuring revenue compliance.
Our ideal candidate can effectively disseminate large amounts of financial information. You will need high-level analytical and research skills, the ability to analyse complex problems, identify issues, think laterally, and develop strategies. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a motivated, energetic, flexible, commercially focused attitude are also required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree qualified in accounting, finance, commerce, or economics.
• 1-2 years’ experience in financial or commercial analytical roles
• Demonstrated experience with SAP/SFDC /GAAP/ SOX audits
