Description:

Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter’s 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel’s 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building’s legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.
The Hotel Revenue Analyst is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue by analyzing trends, monitoring booking channels, and implementing strategies. This role involves working closely with the Reservation and Revenue team to support the development and implementation of effective revenue strategies. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
Assist in the implementation of hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Analyze historical data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to forecast demand and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Revenue and Operation Systems: Manage and maintain the hotel’s revenue management system (RMS) and property management system (PMS), ensuring accurate data entry and system functionality. Ensuring that all rates are correctly loaded into the PMS, and accurately complete rate loading/mapping in central reservation system-Sabre, including rate plans, restrictions, and channel configurations, so that the rates are viewable in the proper channels of sale.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy rates, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and economic factors impacting hotel performance. Review the hotels’ comp-set rates on brand websites to monitor market placement. Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies to identify market opportunities and threats.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize room inventory and allocation strategies to balance demand across different market segments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, reservation and front office teams to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with overall hotel objectives.
  • Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations
  • Actively participate in weekly sales and revenue management meetings.

Pay Range: Hourly $28- 30
