Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a skilled Revenue Recognition Specialist with a strong background in e-commerce and deep expertise in revenue recognition under US GAAP. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue reporting, contributing to the financial health and transparency of our organization.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with US GAAP, specifically ASC 606.
- Review and analyze customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
- Work closely with the finance, legal, and sales teams to ensure alignment on revenue-related matters.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation supporting revenue recognition decisions and processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to revenue.
- Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate revenue reporting.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue recognition.
- Continuously monitor and implement changes in revenue recognition policies, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
