Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Credit Specialist (internally known as Revenue Services Specialist), you will play a critical role in ensuring revenue recovery, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining strong financial processes. Your expertise will help optimise revenue streams while ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative, and customer expectations.
This role offers exposure to diverse financial processes, including managing multiple ledgers, accounts receivable functions, and revenue recovery initiatives, all within a supportive leadership environment.
TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU’LL HAVE:
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience working in revenue services functions, such as: collections, credit risk and/or accounts receivable.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to make sound commercial decisions.
- Negotiate settlements for debt balances across a broad range of customers.
- Bring knowledge of electricity distribution or similar industries (preferred).
- Microsoft Office – particularly competent with MS Excel.
