JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Revenue Staff Accountant is a key member of the Take 5 Accounting and Finance Department and will work closely with Accounting Manager. The Revenue Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager, he/she will be responsible for daily revenue review, posting journal entries, month end close process, and supporting the Car Wash Revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance/Related fields
  • 1-3 Years of experience in general accounting activities
  • Experience with general month end close process (bank reconciliation, posting journal entries)
  • Experience with ERP System; preferably Oracle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules
  • Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
  • Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget
  • Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports
  • Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects
  • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques
  • Provides resolution to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
  • Exercises judgement within defined policies, procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Limited guidance to lower level staff
  • Builds productive internal and/or external working relationships
