POSITION SUMMARY

The Reverse Logistics Manager is responsible for the design, development, implementation and execution of end to end global reverse logistics network to enable a cost effective, responsive and service centric reverse value chain. This role will be required to provide project and program support on all reverse logistics flows, working in conjunction with Global Product Support, Technical Support, Field Service, Manufacturing and Spares Operations Team. The Reverse Logistics Manager also identifies gaps and recommends opportunities for improving efficiencies and capabilities of the reverse value chain. This role is an individual contributor role and is part of the Global Logistics organization, reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum 5 years of program or project experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management for the capital equipment industry, semiconductor or hi-tech environment
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to use data to synthesize information, influence and make decisions
  • Well versed in problem solving techniques (8D, 5W, TPM, Standard Work)
  • Prior experience with reverse value chain, reverse logistics, repair and rework centers operations
  • Diploma with related Experience / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Experience in SAP, knowledge of TMS / WMS functionalities is expected
  • Proven change agent and influencer, with high-motivation to delight customers
  • Ability to perform multiple actions across multiple regions
  • Ability to operate in an fast paced environment of significant change and ambiguity

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute processes for global returns/reverse and drive effective material disposition actions, aimed at improving cost, response and cycle time
  • Lead and develop an effective reverse value chain network routing and drive scalable reverse logistics center capabilities within ASM global spares entry hub logistics operations
  • Analyze and map underlying process for the reverse value chain to identify cost and efficiency opportunities and pro-actively make recommendations and execute on implementation
  • Responsible for the data analysis, reporting and performance of reverse cycle time metrics, reverse logistics costs, returns inventory health and recovery quality
  • Develop and implement reverse value chain programs including but not limited to new business integrations, contract repairs/refurbishment vendors set-up, pick-up/drop-off (PUDO), drop/direct ships, warranty returns and replacement, failure analysis
  • Support duty exemptions and drawback regimes for reverse value chain v
  • Supervise and control logistics projects milestones, tasks, scope, timelines, expenses and risks impacting projects
  • Support standardization and harmonization of spares logistics processes globally
  • Be the key member in the roll out of SAP S/4 HANA projects for Advanced Returns Management (ARM)
  • Be the reverse logistics subject matter expert, super user and key lead in material disposition council
