PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Linux operating systems, VLANs and network security.
  • Hands on RF measurement experience (analyzers, vector signal generators, power sensors, network analyzers).
  • Physical-layer modem algorithms/standards (DVB-S2, CCSDS, 5G NTN).
  • Hands on link-performance measurement experience (link/protocol testers, channel emulators).
  • Experience in collaborative software design (GIT, code reviews).
  • Antenna range experience and OTA experiment design.
  • Experience in RF test automation (SCPI, test executive).
  • Statistical analysis and metrology.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, design, implement, and maintain measurement/test solutions for link/modem validation.
  • Define and analyze calibration and metrology aspects (statistical error analysis, confidence levels, error budgets).
  • Develop modular, reusable software in Python (or similar languages) to be implemented in a variety of setups.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot link-performance issues.
  • Interact with DSP/HW/SW team to improve system performance.
