Description:
Our bustling bar in the heart of Queenstown is pumping once more. We’re the busiest bar in Queenstown and need your help with potentially one of the busiest years yet! We like to come in hot, and we require someone who’s willing to go the whole way with us.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
We are looking for an energetic, flexible and hard working candidate. You may not necessarily have bar experience, and that’s ok! What we are looking for is:

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
This position is about pumping out the best drinks across the bar in the most efficient manner. This role is required mainly on Saturday nights where you are responsible for serving up drinks, shaken or stirred until the early hours of the morning! There will be more hours available during week nights depending on trading hours and needs.
This role may also require you to help work shifts as security, and if you would like more hours, you may be able to help out in the kitchen too.
Our security team is the first point of contact for all of our customers along with being a direct extension of our brand. It is vital that you provide a warm welcome to our guests and continue that rapport throughout the evening. This includes:
- Proactively monitoring intoxication levels within our site
- Reporting and coordinating with the head of security
- Managing and de escalating conflict
- Upholding the sale and supplier of Liquor Act 2012
- Checking ID’s
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Greeting customers.
- Making cocktails, coffees, shots etc.
- Assisting the sales manager as required.
- Setting up the bar for busy periods and completing the opening / closing procedures.
