Description:
Rhode Island Free Clinic is nationally recognized for its volunteer/community partner model. The Clinic mobilizes an active statewide corps of over 500 volunteers, and community partners throughout RI to provide nearly 9,000 patient visits and a medical home to uninsured, low-income RI adults. The Clinic also serves as a training site for aspiring healthcare professionals. The Clinic raises 100% of its $1.5 million annual budget, and leverages over $7.5 million in additional health resources to provide medical care and wellness programs to improve the health of vulnerable RI adults. Through the Clinic’s comprehensive range of free health services, patients’ health is stabilized and improved, and they are empowered through increased health literacy, follow-up visits, and referrals to self-manage chronic conditions and better maintain their own wellness. The Clinic seeks a savvy, highly organized Data Analyst VISTA to build the Clinic’s capacity by developing a newly created data warehouse to extract monthly reporting, and to collaborate with top medical professionals to collect, analyze, and interpret health data, benchmarking, and impact analysis to develop best practices. This person will be responsible for championing data collection & reporting; creating new report formats and content, and producing data reports. Member Duties : The Data Analyst VISTA works with senior leadership, staff and community partners to build capacity by developing a module for data collection to measure and track patient performance outcomes to assess productivity and quality of care to low-income adult residents. This includes: use current data systems, ECW, Volgistics and patient eligibility; collaborating with community partners to create a new data warehouse to run reports, analysis and dashboards; provide monthly reports (which are non-existing) on Clinic statistics including health indicators, volunteer model, and financial impact; design and implement data improvement projects on internal & external stakeholders; and assist with Clinic data goals.
